Responsibilities

• Development of new functionalities or enhancements for the current products (mostly backend development; sometimes frontend too);
• Develop or amend integrations with 3rd party APIs;
• Capability to provide a good design of the new and existing code;
• Ensure the quality of the work delivered by designing and writing automated unit/system tests;
• Perform investigation and analysis of defects and provide appropriate fixes in a timely manner;
• Actively participate in peer code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase;
• Communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with the rest of the team and with client staff (good – Actively participates to all Scrum ceremonies via video calls;
• Availability to travel 1 – 2 weeks per year.

Methodology used: Agile in a distributed team: Iasi + Darmstadt, Germany.

Qualifications and Experience

Back-end Technologies – Experience With

• Java 8
• Microservices based architecture
• Strong skills of designing new code and improve the quality of existing one SE 1st of June ~ 2 weeks /year
• Spring framework – Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Core, Spring boot, Spring Rest, Spring Security
• Code best practices and code review skills
• Hibernate framework
