Your responsibilities as a Senior Compliance Specialist may include:

• classification of products on the basis of their potential danger for the purposes of regulatory storage and transportation;
• taking appropriate measures to protect customers from recalled or unsafe products;
• search for and remove from the site products that violate our policy on prohibited products, and early compliance with Amazon’s regulatory obligations regarding these products.

Also, in addition to the above basic responsibilities, you are expected to be involved in broader organizational activities. This may include the following tasks:

• search for opportunities for improvement;
• training and mentoring of other employees;
• analysis of quality and problems related to the process, as well as recommendations for improvement;
• notifying the supervisor/manager of process updates received from stakeholders;
• communication with clients, keeping notes and documentation on such communication.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• high school education;
• 1-2 years of experience in the field of business processes based on data;
• experience in outsourcing business processes, operational processes; database management will be an advantage;
• high level of English language proficiency (orally and in writing);
• sufficient level of oral and written proficiency in French, Spanish or Italian (at least level B1);
• knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook and MS Excel will also be an advantage;
• attention to detail;
• ability to analyze and find patterns in large data sets;
• ability to make decisions based on the recommendations provided and in the presence of unclear contexts;
• work with large data sets;
• extensive experience with the Internet and search engines;
• quick search for the necessary information about the goods.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably);
• knowledge of safety requirements in the field of consumer goods;
• experience in product safety management and/or compliance with regulatory requirements in government agencies;
• knowledge of SQL basics.
