Senior IT Recruiter

Role Summary

Part of BSS&I team, your responsibilities will be focused around Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding activities at Appsbroker. Filling various IT roles within our key operational technical delivery teams. These are all client facing and Cloud based and primarily cover; DevOps / Platform, Data, Application Development, Project Management, Business Analysis, Service Delivery and Support.

Appsbroker is dynamic and the role is varied so you’ll get involved in a wide range of activities but here are the things you’ll definitely be doing:

  • Planning and facilitating the end-to-end recruitment of IT professionals; from advert to offer
  • Partnering with internal technical team leads
  • Partnering with 3rd party agencies and job boards
  • Creating and delivering engaging candidate attraction methods
  • Actively approaching passive candidates
  • Managing all aspects of the candidate journey
  • Delivering continuous improvements to our hiring process and plan next actions based on relevant analytics;
  • Leading by example: being involved in the sourcing and recruitment process;
  • Enjoying filling those open challenging roles
  • Define and implement local employer branding visibility



In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Fill a number of cutting edge IT roles
  • Deliver a full end-to-end recruitment service to technical team leads
  • Add creativity to candidate attraction
  • Promote Appsbroker to potential candidates
  • Manage agencies if required
  • Work independently on a portfolio of role requirements
  • Utilise tools like LinkedIn, or other recruitment platforms to promote open jobs
  • Actively promote diversity and inclusion within the candidate pools
  • Collaborate with hiring managers for Job description, recruitment steps, and final decision
  • Organize and attend awareness sessions for internal open roles
  • Attending career fairs/events to promote the company and deepen the pool of potential candidates
  • Be an expert on, represent and educate internal and external stakeholders on company brand, culture and values
  • Design innovative methods to attract candidates partnering with the marketing team for company visibility, local branding and an accurate communication within the organization
  • Define and lead a long term EB plan with detailed steps, actions, tools and needs in order to enhance company image for internal and external audiences
  • Assist in people development needs within the organization through job analysis, performance review results and regular consultation with managers.

You should have:

  • Prior experience of attracting talent within complex IT roles
  • Great engagement skills. Having a passion and enthusiasm when talking to potential candidates
  • Self drive and ability to work independently and within a team
  • A love for helping people and facilitating a recruitment journey
  • Desire to deliver versus a set target
  • Experience of how to attract candidates for those difficult to fill technical roles
  • Hiring manager management experience
  • Innovative approaches to attracting talent
